Thomas Wywrot, currently playing guitar and banjo with The Isaacs is putting the finishing touches on a new self-produced solo project. “Every Time I Walk This Road,” set for release on January 5, 2010, was recorded mostly in Wywrot’s home studio, “Right Good Studio,” with several a-list bluegrass musicians adding their talents to the record.
Wywrot handles the banjo, guitar and harmony vocals on the CD with help from Randy Kohrs, Jim VanCleve, Jason and Jeremy Chapman, Alan Bartram, Daniel Salyer, Ashby Frank, Alecia Nugent and Laura Keel.
“Thomas Wywrot is the real deal: a top-level talent on banjo and guitar. He’s assembled a top-notch cast for “Every Time I Walk This Road,” and the results bear repeated listening. It’s as perfect a snapshot of modern bluegrass as you’d want to hear.” Tim Stafford
“Every Time I Walk This Road” is now available for pre-order through Wywrot’s web site. Wywrot’s site also features audio clips from the new CD as well a blog where fans can keep up with the latest news.
