In God’s Time, the Rebel Records debut release from Barry Scott & Second Wind, is one of five albums nominated this year for a Grammy award in the Best Southern, Country or Bluegrass Gospel Album category.
“The band is extremely excited and making plans to attend the Grammy Awards in Los Angeles, Calif.,” according to a statement from the group’s publicist.
The awards will air on CBS at 8 p.m. eastern time on Jan. 31, 2010. The band will be holding a special fundraising concert in January in Cookeville, Tenn., to help cover travel expenses.
Additional details on the concert will be announced when they are finalized.
