Prescription Bluegrass can now be heard every Wednesday beginning at 12 Noon Central Time on Radio Bluegrass International (RBI), a service of the International Bluegrass Music Museum in Owensboro, KY.
Prescription Bluegrass is a weekly, syndicated radio program designed to fill a void in public/community or country radio formats. With a slight tongue-in-cheek twist, Prescription Bluegrass is the “Auditory Therapy” most often prescribed for those who suffer from bluegrass fever.
The Prescription Bluegrass one-hour radio program has been serving bluegrass fans in Northern Arizona for over four years. According to program host, Brian McNeal, “folks who suffer from bluegrass fever need a regular dose of Prescription Bluegrass and now the entire world can get this special treatment.”
Prescription Bluegrass can be heard on RBI by visiting BluegrassMuseum.org and launching the radio player every Wednesday at noon Central Time.
“It’s an honor to have our show included with some of the finest bluegrass radio hosts in the country,” says host McNeal, a veteran broadcaster with more than 30 years providing “therapy” to listeners.
This special one-hour treatment session (Radio Program) is for anyone afflicted with Bluegrass Fever. Those afflicted who don’t get enough bluegrass in their regular musical diet are encouraged to attend our weekly therapy sessions. Treatment sessions from Prescription Bluegrass are delivered Free-of-Charge via Frequency or Amplitude Modulation; or now via streaming on the world-wide web every week. Treatment sessions are jam-packed with practicing specialists in all the various strains of Bluegrass Fever, including the traditional, old-fashioned, down-from-the-mountain strains, new-grass, border-grass, west-grass, home-grown and even the newer European strains. Individual treatment sessions, family plans and group therapy are all available weekly.
Radio Bluegrass International (RBI) is the International Bluegrass Music Museum’s free online radio station, broadcasting 24/7 with a mixture of contemporary artists and vintage material from an extensive catalog.
The International Bluegrass Music Museum is located in the RiverPark Complex at the foot of “the Blue Ridge” in downtown Owensboro, Kentucky.
