Don Rigsby’s annual Homecoming concert is scheduled for March 19, 2010, at 7 pm at the Mountain Arts Center in Prestonsburg, KY. Fans are in for a special treat this year with a Lonesome River Band (circa 1995-2001) Reunion. Don will once again take the stage with Ronnie Bowman, Sammy Shelor, and Kenny Smith.

This event is one night only and sure to be one you don’t want to miss. The LRB Reunion will mark Rigsby’s 12th Homecoming concert and the first time Ronnie, Sammy, Kenny, and he have performed together in nearly a decade. “I am so thrilled to have the opportunity to play this music once again with the boys! I have not played these songs or sung them in way too long and it will be a thrill to visit this stuff again, not to mention playing with my dear friends!” says Don of the upcoming show. And he adds, “We plan to play as much as we can in the concert and cover the songs everybody wants to hear. It will be a total blast! I have to get to the woodshed and brush up on all of them!”

The opening band will be The Bartley Brothers (Shayne and Rick Bartley). Banjoist Shayne Bartley has performed alongside bluegrass greats Don Rigsby, JD Crowe, Lost And Found, and many more, as well as well-known country acts, such Brad Paisley and Rascal Flatts. Guitarist Rick Bartley is an established songwriter having had his songs recorded by JD Crowe, Junior Sisk and Rambler’s Choice, and Jeff Parker.
