Darren Nicholson, of Balsam Range, had the honor of playing for the Eliada Home benefit in Asheville, NC on Tuesday, June 22. The Eliada Home is a non-profit agency that serves children and families in western North Carolina.
A friend of several of the local artists in Asheville, Darren was asked to play an acoustic set for the benefit with former front man of Motley Crue, John Corabi. “Heavy Metal has been needing mandolin for years,” Darren commented. “I was honored to be asked to play.” Darren Nicholson joined band members Tony Creasman, Tom Rhodes, John Corabi, David Bradley, and Robert Bradley for the acoustic set.
It is now in the works for Darren Nicholson to appear on John’s upcoming recording.
Not just Darren, but Balsam Range has taken time and performed often for local charities in the Asheville area to help their family and friends. For more information, check out their website at www.BalsamRange.com.
