Rhonda Vincent has been chosen as the recipient of the inaugural Bluegrass Heritage Foundation Star Award, a new award that will honor bluegrass artists who do an exemplary job of presenting and advancing bluegrass music while preserving its traditional character and heritage.
“We believe that Rhonda is the perfect recipient for this initial award because of her incredible talent and record of accomplishments,” said Alan Tompkins, president of the foundation. “She followed her parents’ tradition of performing bluegrass music all the way to the Grammy stage, and now her daughters are blazing a trail with their own new band.” For more information about Rhonda Vincent, visit www.RhondaVincent.com.
