You've gotta love the McCoury's. I've always wanted to check out Del Fest but I haven't gotten the chance yet.

If anyone is interested in listening to some similar country/bluegrass artists (Ernest Tubb and His Texas Troubadours, Ernest Tubb, Hender Saul) or other rare America recordings check them out onLost Gold Records at www.lostgoldmusic.com

I am a huge fan of The Greencards, I reviewed their first 2 CDs on Dualtone. This is a huge departure from their refreshing new grass sound. I just received their first 2 Cds fron Dualtone, They were nice to send them to me, btw, they sound so much better on my new disc player. I listened to "Weather and Water". What a great ,airy refreshing sound, plenty of great songs with the help of Bryan Sutton and Pat Flynn on guitar. Recorded by Gary Pacsosa, and mastered by Doug Sax. Very High Quality, but so is this new one, just a bit more eclectic, Not much in the way of vocals here and the songs kind of drag along in a way. They are exploring a new type of sound, hard to explain, very sparse, I still love these guys, this is their 4th CD, and only 1/4 of their material. Best to them

I have actually posted a lot of free media (songs/videos) as well as some interesting reviews at my bluegrass blog. I seriously suggest you check them out. They are playing in South Florida on 4/18 at the Flagler Museum. So if you happen to be from there... GO! you will not be disappointed.
