Nashville, Tenn., — Award-winning Rounder Records duo Dailey & Vincent will release their first gospel album, a collection of a Cappella songs called Singing From the Heart, on October 20.

The project began in 2001, long before Jamie Dailey and Darrin Vincent began their career as a duo. It was a labor of love, an album of a cappella spiritual songs that would honor the Church of Christ’s practice of singing without instruments…

Lonesome River Band holds onto Bluegrass Unlimited’s top slot

Nashville, Tenn., — The Lonesome River Band has a lot to celebrate these days as their current Rural Rhythm Records album, “No Turning Back” remains the #1 album on July’s Bluegrass Unlimited Magazine Top 15 album chart marking the third consecutive month holding the #1 spot! The Lonesome River Band is also celebrating the #1 single, “Them Blues” on the July Bluegrass Unlimited Magazine Top 30 singles chart and another single off the record, “Like a Train Needs a Track,” climbed into #19 on the same chart….

LRB’s Brandon Rickman single & solo project due on Rural Rhythm

Arcadia, CA — Rural Rhythm Records will unveil the first single, “Always Have, Always Will” by Brandon Rickman next week on “Fresh Cuts and Key Tracks” serviced to radio stations. This fiery, captivating new single was co-written by Brandon Rickman and Chris Stapleton (The Steeldrivers). The song is enhanced by Brandon’s signature lead vocals, matched with the beautifully blended harmony vocals by Terry Eldridge (The Grascals), and incredible intro and reprise by fellow Rural Rhythm artist, Randy Kohrs on resonator guitar. Other musicians on the single include: Aaron McDaris (Rhonda Vincent & The Rage) on banjo, Jenee’ Fleenor (Terri Clark) on fiddle, and Brandon performing guitar, bass, mandolin.

Turn them in, turn them out. Turn them on their head, spin them on their toes. Examine from the right, the left, then the front, now the back.

No matter which angle you take, the Lonesome River Band is one powerful and dynamic bluegrass band. No Turning Back, the group’s new CD on Rural Rhythm Records is a strong affirmation of the band’s many attributes.
