Apparently there has been some confusion regarding the contact information for the upcoming Friends of Eddie & Martha Adcock benefit show scheduled at The Station Inn on October 25.

Dr. Terry Comer, DDS is the primary sponsor and contact person for information regarding the benefit show. Dr. Comer is a close friend of the Adcocks, their dentist and a fellow musician….

Benefit for Linda Ralph happens December 13

Weston, VT. — A benefit for Linda Ralph of the Danby Four Corners Store will take place at the Weston Playhouse in Weston, VT. Linda was recently diagnosed with pancreatic cancer and the benefit is hoping to help Linda and Butch offset the medical expenses.

The Gibson Brothers, Cabin Fever, Acoustic Blue and the Seth Sawyer Band will perform at the benefit. The benefit begins at 12:00 Noon on Saturday, December 13th. There will be several items raffled off including a Martin Guitar, pairs of tickets to several area bluegrass festivals, tickets to the upcoming Claire Lynch performance in Hartford and much more.

The Adcocks host Christmas Concert for homeless at Station Inn

The Station Inn’s ninth annual Christmas Bluegrass Benefit Concert for the Homeless will begin at 7 p.m. Dec. 14.

The Station Inn is the Mecca for bluegrass fans wanting to hear their favorite music in Nashville, Tenn.

A long list of performers has already signed up to donate their time to the benefit, according to Eddie and Martha Adcock, who have been among prime organizers of the event in past years. Other coordinators are Gene Johnson, mandolinist for Diamond Rio; and Donna Sonner.

M.A.C.C. draws the finest of bluegrass

Great causes usually draw great people, great support and great crowds — a combination for great results.
That’s been the case for the past several years as Musicians Against Childhood Cancer is staged at Hoover Y-Park in Columbus, Ohio. The benefit has raised and donated well over $400,000 to childhood cancer research and care.
