Ken Mellons, who found success with the popular and catchy “Jukebox Junkie” that was all over the radio dial in the ’90s, is wrapping up the final details on a musical reunion of sorts with the upcoming release of “Rural Route” due out in September.

Rural Route” finds Mellons stepping into the Bluegrass genre and reuniting with the musical sounds that echoed throughout his East Tennessee childhood home…

Shades of Bean Blossom, Ind., 1973 will be cast over the Graves Mountain Festival of Music in Syria, Va., next year.

First, back to Hoosier land in 1973, when Bill Monroe’s bluegrass festival at his campground in Bean Blossom had become so popular that MCA Records produced a live, long-play album at the festival, titled appropriately, “Bean Blossom”….
