Dan Tyminski Band on CMT’s Unplugged at Studio 330
The Dan Tyminski Band recently taped an episode for CMT’s Unplugged at Studio 330. Along with some interview segments the show features the Dan Tyminski Band playing songs from their soon to be released (June, 17) album “Wheels” on the Rounder Label. The show airs on CMT May 31 at 10:00 am and 12:30am (ET). The program will also be broadcast as follows:

May 30 - June 1 — Adirondack Bluegrass League Bluegrass Roundup takes place in Galway, NY. The 3 day event will feature the music of several talented local groups who donate their time for the roundup. Burlington, MA – Rhonda Vincent has just released her 10th career video – for the song “I Gotta Start Somewhere” from her latest album, “Good Thing Going“. The video, filmed in Bryson City, NC with Los Angeles director Dallas Henry, features Vincent trying to get over a broken relationship by retreating to the mountains. Vincent’s band, The Rage, make their video debut along with her driver, Yogi Bare. The video premiered on the bluegrass.cmt.com blog to help launch this new CMT initiative – a blog devoted to bluegrass music – on May 1 and will debut on CMT Pure in heavy rotation on Monday, May 5.
The release of “I Gotta Start Somewhere” and the bluegrass.cmt.com blog coincides with the 20th Anniversary of Worldwide Bluegrass Music Month, an initiative that began in 1988 to develop a larger audience for bluegrass music. During the month of May, bluegrass devotees ensure that the month is filled with bluegrass events around the world.

CMT featuring Cadillac Sky on “Unplugged at Studio 330“
If you didn’t catch it on TV, CMT has the latest “Unplugged at Studio 330″ with Cadillac Sky available online. Performances include “Born Lonesome,” “You Again,” Homesick Angel” and “Basket Case.”
The show also features several interview clips with the members of Cadillac Sky.
Cadillac Sky is comprised of: Brian Simpson (Mandolin, Vocal), Matt Menefee (Banjo), Mike Jump (Guitar), Ross Holmes (Fiddle, Vocal) and Andy Moritz (bass).
The groups latest CD is “Blind Man Walking” released on the Skaggs Family Records label.

CMT previews Plant / Krauss Crossroads show
CMT.com has a preview of the highly anticipated Robert Plant and Alison Krauss episode of Crossroads available online. The show is set to air Feb. 11th on CMT at 7 P.M. CST.
The video clip is of “Gone Gone Gone (Done Moved On)” from the unlikely duo’s “Raising Sand” album. The CD was released to critical acclaim in Oct of 2007 and can be viewed here. The backing band on the Crossroads show includes T. Bone Burnett on guitar who also produced the project, Dennis Crouch on Bass and Buddy Miller on Guitar.
Plant and Krauss will also kick off their North American tour April 19th at the Palace Theatre in Louisville, Ky. with additional shows in Knoxville, Chattanooga, New Orleans and Birmingham before kicking off the European leg of the tour.
