Nashville, Tenn., — Award-winning Rounder Records duo Dailey & Vincent will release their first gospel album, a collection of a Cappella songs called Singing From the Heart, on October 20.
The project began in 2001, long before Jamie Dailey and Darrin Vincent began their career as a duo. It was a labor of love, an album of a cappella spiritual songs that would honor the Church of Christ’s practice of singing without instruments…

First, a confession: I haven’t heard much — maybe nothing — of Doyle Lawson & Quicksilver since the departures of Jamie Dailey and Barry Scott. Having those two together wasn’t simply Quicksilver, it was pure silver. It’s doubtful, I thought, that Lawson could ever compile a band with such strong vocal abilities again….

Burlington, MA – One of Bluegrass’ most honored and revered talents, Doyle Lawson, celebrates 30 years of recording with Quicksilver with his 34th release – Lonely Street (Rounder) on May 5.
