Camp focuses on Monroe mandolin style

Registration is still being accepted for the 3rd Annual Monroe-Style Mandolin Camp, sponsored by the International Bluegrass Music Museum in Owensboro, Ky.
The camp will be held Sept. 12-14 in Owensboro.Registration will be capped at 50 participants.
The faculty this year includes Richie Brown, Mike Compton, Bobby Osborne, Frank Wakefield, Butch Waller and Roland White. Guest [...]

Owensboro museum opens new exhibits

The International Bluegrass Music Museum in downtown Owensboro, Ky., has just opened four new exhibits featuring three members of the Bluegrass Hall of Honor and the Tennessee bluegrass band, The McCormick Brothers.
