Bluegrass Artists scheduled include: Laurie Lewis & the Right Hands, Bradley Walker, Michael Cleveland & Flamekeeper, Dan Paisley & Southern Grass, Alecia Nugent Band, Charlie Sizemore Band, Dry Branch Fire Squad and more. Single Day tickets run from $10 - $40 and 4 day festival passes are available for $80. The Festival also has an extensive variety of workshops scheduled.

July 10-12 — Bluegrass in the Hills July Festival - Hopedale, OH. Bluegrass artists scheduled include: James King Band, Melvin Goins, Appalachian Bluegrass, Lonesome Heart, Dailey & Vincent, Bluegrass Xpress and more. Single day tickets at the gate are $10 (Thurs) and $25 (Fri Sat) or $45 for a weekend pass which includes 4 days (Wed - Sun) of primitive camping included.

July 3-5 — Starvy Creek Bluegrass Festival - Conway, MO. Artists scheduled to appear include: Bobby Osborne & the Rocky Top X-Press, Larry Stephensen Band, Audie Blaylock & Redline, Doyle Lawson & Quicksilver, Lonesome Road, Bull Harman & Bulls Eye and more. Single Day tickets are priced at $10 (Thu) and $15 (Fri & Sat) and a weekend pass is available for $35.00. Children under 12 are free and ages 12-16 are half off with a paid adult.
Pennsylvannia
July 3-6 Out Among The Stars Bluegrass Festival, Benton, PA. Bluegrass artists scheduled to play include: Karl Shifflett & Big Country, Pine Mountain Railroad, The Doerful Family, Lonesome River Band, Chris Jones & The Nightdrivers, James King, Newfound Road and more. A weekend pass at the gate will cost $70 and single day tickets run from $10 - $25 depending on day. Primitive camping is included free with a weekend pass.

June 6-7 — Foggy Hollow Bluegrass Gatherin’ - Wellington, AL. Featuring Bluegrass Artists The Chapmans, Blue Moon Rising, IIIrd Tyme Out, Kudzu String Band, Kelli Johnson, the Herb Trotman band and Foggy Hollow. Tickets are available at the gate for $15 (fri) $25 (Sat.) or a 2 day pass for $30.
Maine
Canceled for 2008 - Blue Hill Bluegrass Festival - Blue Hill, ME. The management of the Blue Hill Bluegrass festival has announced that the 2008 festival will not take place. A much larger Folk, Bluegrass and Acoustic music Festival is scheduled at the Blue Hill Fairgrounds the weekend prior to Blue Hill Bluegrass Festival rendering the smaller Blue Hill Festival economically unfeasible.
Michigan
June 6-8 — Midwest Banjo Camp - Olivet, MI. 2008 Instructors include: Greg Cahill, Cathy Fink, Bill Keith, Jens Kruger, Alan Munde, Mike Sumner, Pete Wernick and many more.

June 6-7 — Stonycreek’s Bluegrass Festival - Mineral Wells, WV. Bluegrass acts on the lineup include: Melvin Goins & Windy Mountain, Goldwing Express, Stoneycreek, Buck & Co., Bluegrass Mountaineers and others. Tickets are listed at $35 for the weekend on the Stoneycreek Website.

Niles Bluegrass Festival will be held June 5-8 in Riverfront Park in downtown Niles, Mich.
Niles is 8 miles north of South Bend, Ind.
The free festival this year will feature 13 bands, although the bands and performance schedules have yet to be posted at www.nilesbluegrass.com.
The festival will feature three stages of music, an open jam gospel session, a pickers tent, workshops, food, arts and crafts.

Award-winning fiddler Michael Cleveland and his band Flamekeeper will headline the 13th annual Mayfest Bluegrass Festival at the Kent County Fairgrounds in Lowell, Mich.
The festival will be held May 16-18. Cleveland and his group will perform Saturday.
The remainder of the lineup consists of local and regional bands.
The West Michigan Bluegrass Music Association, sponsors of the festival, are holding a potluck and jam session on Thursday evening, the day before the festival kicks off.
