Monster Pickers at Pend Oreille Valley Bluegrass Festival

If you’re into the hot Pickin’ side of bluegrass, the lineup at this years Pend Oreille Valley Bluegrass Festival, at the County Fairgrounds in Cusick, Washington, September 6-9th, featuring 3 giants of the acoustic instrumental world, should keep you on the edge of your seat.

Steve Kaufman and Gary DavisThree-time national flatpicking champion Steve Kaufman will perform Saturday night with the only three-time national banjo champion Gary Davis. As if that wouldn’t be enough for a night of memorable music, Friday nights headliner Dan Crary will join Kaufman and Davis for a jam to close the night out.

Other bluegrass acts scheduled to perform during the festival are Prairie Flyer, The Engell Family Band, Too Hot To Handle, and many more.

Steve Kaufman and Gary Davis will also present Workshops during the festival. Space for the workshops will be limited and no obligation reservations are recommended. Check out the festival web site for time and fees.

The Festival ground will be open to RV and Tent campers on September 3rd with picker’s welcome to get the weeks festivities underway. Limited space is available so call today to get your site reserved. Ticket prices will run $15.00 per day or a three day pass for $40.00. Children under 12 admitted free with adult.
