I’ve long held this theory that a chosen few males who are born in Kentucky are blessed with this rare gene that gives them these wonderful high-lonesome voices. The names Monroe, Skaggs and Osborne immediately come to mind. Or maybe it’s something mystical, like a strange compound in the spring water that sprouts from the Kentucky hills.

But Larry Stephenson makes me ponder expanding my theory….

Pre-Order Dixie Bee-Liners concept album “Susanville”

Grasstowne’s latest “The Other Side of Towne” now available

Nashville, Tenn., — Grasstowne’s lead singer, Steve Gulley, is hoping their cleverly titled brand new sophomore release, “The Other Side of Towne,” which hit streets yesterday, does just what this band of veteran players intended for it to do when they were recording the project – define who Grasstowne is as a band and solidify their indentifiable sound. Early indications are that it is doing just that….
