Wilmington, OH., — Award-winning Bluegrass acts take the stage during The Southern Ohio Indoor Music Festival, November 13 and 14, at the Roberts Convention Centre in Wilmington. This is one of the Midwest’s most entertaining acoustic music events, occurring twice a year, in March and November.

Song of the Mountains with Rhonda Vincent, Balsam Range and more taping Oct. 17

Rhonda Vincent & the Rage are the headliners for this weekends show and taping for the PBS Series “Song of the Mountains.” The Oct. 17th show also includes Rhonda Vincent’s daughters group, Next Best Thing, Fall Creek and Balsam Range. This marks Rhonda Vincent & the Rage’s second appearance on “Song of the Mountains” and taping gets underway at 7:00 p.m. at the Lincoln Theatre in Marion, Virginia….

Southern Ohio Indoor Music Festival takes place Nov. 13-14

The Southern Ohio Indoor Music Festival features award-winning bluegrass entertainment at the Roberts Convention Centre in Wilmington, Ohio every March and November. Bluegrass Artists Band Together for Benefit Concert

Virginia native Mary Ennis is no stranger to Bluegrass music, its fans or its artists and is known as “Dancin’ Mary” to the Bluegrass community. When top Bluegrass musicians learned of Mary’s recent diagnosis of cancer, there was not a question in any one’s mind that something should be done. To that end, a special benefit concert has been planned in Mary’s honor.

“This show is what the Bluegrass community and Bluegrass people are all about!”, stated Bluegrass singer and benefit coordinator Larry Stephenson….

Bluegrass, BBQ in full swing at Silver Dollar City

The annual Bluegrass & BBQ festival at Silver Dollar City near Branson, Mo., kicked off this week and will run through May 31.

One of the theme park’s festival headlines, Rhonda Vincent and her band The Rage, will perform May 20 and 21. Also topping the weeks-long playbill are Dailey & Vincent from May 25 through May 28; and The Grascals, May 29-31. Nothin’ Fancy, which won the Entertaining Group of the Year honors this year from the Society for the Preservation of Blue Grass Music in America, is due to perform at the Ozark hills attraction May 29-31. North Carolina-based Kruger Brothers will perform May 17-21.
