Winfield, Kan., — A large part of the annual Walnut Valley Festival is made up of eight different acoustic instrument championships. The contests consist of 2 international, 4 national and two Walnut Valley championships for numerous stringed acoustic instruments including the guitar, mandolin, banjo, fiddle, autoharp and both hammer and mountain dulcimers.
